At a time the Federation was seeking to sign partnership agreements over the recently launched Regional Deaf football league. There couldn’t be a much better time for the new sponsorship that come in.

With some regional leagues having completed (Great Rift Regional Deaf League), this sponsorship will help with smooth ending of the remaining Leagues. It will also ease the transition to the 2022 National League championships.
We are pleased to announce that the SportPesa has handed to the federation full set of sporting gears. Which are expected to be given to our League Deaf players, an arrangement that is ongoing.
Deaf Football Federation of Kenya, President, Stephen Waweru, stated :

“We are tremendously proud to be establishing a long term partnership with one of the most exciting and dynamic betting companies. The ability to connect and collaborate has never been more important to the world and our Deaf sport community. We are looking forward to working with SportPesa to bring to life our vision for a partnership built on smarter ways of connecting people and businesses. even as we are working on this we also are thrilled to receive the jerseys from the company.”
Deaf Football Federation of Kenya ability to strike a deal in a time like this is a positive sign of their commercial might still prevailing. Where the club were once worried about lack of sponsor midway through its new launched league – never a good sign for any club under the league, they have been able to secure a new one in a comparatively long-term deal.
SportPesa becomes only the major principal sponsor of Deaf football Federation of Kenya – Regional league. With room for more new deals, it will be interesting to see what other brands the Federation rope in ahead of next National league Championships on November .
